| Course Objective |
To provide an in-depth understanding of blasting explosives. To be able to design a blast from basic principles & to have a working understanding of environmental measurements on the blast site.

Procedures /
General Details |
This course is a correspondence course ie. by distance education. For each module, an assignment must be completed. Your assignment is evaluated and returned to you. When all three assignments have been successfully completed, the final exam, for all three modules, may be written. The exam is written at your place of work under supervision.

A background in blasting or worked in the explosives industry is required.

Enrolment can take place at any time during the year. To enrol, please complete our Enrolment Form (see below). Your course fees must be paid before enrolment takes place. | Duration |
The course must be completed in one year or less, starting from the date of enrolment. Longer study period is subject to a re-enrolment (re-enrolment fee applicable).
